Every year in June, at the start of the Mediterranean season, the world’s most beautiful traditional yachts once again gather for the Voiles d’Antibes Trophy.

The event takes place between May and June and offers the opportunity to admire outstanding sailboats. Various kinds of entertainment are also organized, such as exhibitions by local artists and musical evenings.

Since 1996, Les Voiles d’Antibes has marked the opening of the Mediterranean circuit for traditional yachts. It is here, the first week of June, that old rigs compete for a crazy race in the purest sporting tradition. Nearly 60 boats with 500 sailors on board are pushing to cross the finish line aboard their boat from another century. Adventure and luxury merge as the latter hovers over the sea and the sound of rigging echoes off the masts.

At Port Vauban’s south pier, amateurs and connoisseurs alike can admire these exceptional sailboats and discover exhibitions by local artists.

If the many activities invite young and old to discover this marine world, the esplanade of Pré aux Pêcheurs offers a new face at nightfall. Musical evenings transport us to an exceptional atmosphere with a breathtaking setting! In short, Les Voiles d’Antibes are an event not to be missed!
