The region has decided to celebrate its priceless heritage of gardens through an event, “Festival des Jardins de la Côte d’Azur”
The festival takes place in the spring months. It is one of the most anticipated annual events on the French Riviera, as the festival is spread across several cities.
Gardens have contributed greatly to the reputation of the Côte d’Azur and today constitute a first-rate botanical heritage. In fact, the Côte d’Azur boasts more than 80 gardens (not including urban parks), unique in their history and botanical richness.
The Festival des Jardins de la Côte d’Azur invites you to discover the most beautiful gardens and spend a month en plein air.
The creations will be spread over 6 sites on the Côte d’Azur: Antibes-Juan-les-Pins, Cannes, Grasse, Menton, Nice and the Principality of Monaco.
The cities will each host 2 or 3 pop-up gardens, free to the public during the day, for the duration of the Festival.
Throughout the duration of the event, a range of activities will be offered in the different locations on the French Riviera including Antibes, Cagnes-sur-Mer, Cannes, Cap d’Ail, Eze, Grasse , La Brigue, La Gaude, Le Cannet, Mandelieu- La Napoule, Menton, Monaco, Nice, Peymeinade, Plan-du Var, Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat and Vallauris.
The event takes place annually, between the months of March and May.
