PROGRAM
Day 1
Bordighera On this day you will visit Villa Pompeo Mariani in Bordighera-one of the most interesting artist ateliers in Europe-where you can try your hand at painting in the villa’s grounds, where Monet painted 3 of his most famous works.
Day 2
Nice You will be taken to the hill of Cimiez-from which you overlook the Baie des Anges-where you can visit the Matisse and Chagall museums, two artists who elected the French Riviera capital as their home.
Day 3
Bussana Vecchia the artists’ village par excellence. This village, which was destroyed in the 1887 earthquake and became an international artists’ community from 1960 onward, is a magical place where you can try your hand at a painting studio and engage with the village’s artists.
Day 4
St.-Paul-de-Vence and Mougins On this art-filled day you will visit two of the most famous artist villages on the French Riviera–delightful villages that are very popular with tourists–where many artists have opened their painting studios.
Day 5
Antibes In this quaint French Riviera town you can visit Renoir’s house in Cagnes-sur-Mer and Picasso’s museum.
