Historic Grand Prix
Since 1997, the Automobile Club of Monaco (ACM) has organized an event that thrills the public. It is a race held every two years on the Monte Carlo circuit, the same as the F1 Grand Prix. In this case, however, the stars are the legendary old racing cars. The event takes place in May, a few weeks before the Grand Prix.
By booking the Historic Grand Prix weekend package, you will have access to the exclusiveACM premises and enjoy a privileged view of the race, the circuit and the view from the giant screens. Services are reserved for a select audience including sponsors, suppliers, car clubs, companies and private groups who are passionate about the circuit and classic car racing.
E-Prix
Formula E is a car series created by the FIA in which only electric-powered cars compete. It first saw its official appearance with E-PRIX in Beijing 2014.
Alejandro Agag is the founder of the series and current president of Formula E Holdings, promoter of the competition.
Fanboost is a system that allows fans to interact with the progress of the race by being able to choose their favorite driver. The top-rated drivers get extra power bonus on their car for a limited period.
Attack Mode is a new mode introduced in the 5th edition that grants extra power to drivers. The details of use – such as the section of the track, in which it can be used – is revealed just before the start of the race, to avoid the study of special strategies.
The majority of races are held over a single day, to minimize the impact on city mobility. On some occasions, however, the race is held over two consecutive days. The program usually includes free practice, qualifying, and then the actual race.
