The Princes’ Palace of Monaco is a private residence whose Grands Appartements are open for visits from April to October. Visiting the Grand Apartments allows you to discover its treasures, such as the Galerie Hercule and its mythological frescoes from the 16th century, the Galerie des Glaces, the Salon Louis XV, the Salle du Trône, or even the Palatine Chapel. The visit ends by taking the double-revolution marble staircase that leads directly to the main courtyard.

Not to be missed is the ceremonial changing of the guard by the Carabiniers du Prince. Since their creation in 1817, the Prince’s Carabiniers have had the mission of guarding the Palace and ensuring the safety of the princely couple. Every day at 11:55 a.m., at the stroke of the clock, dressed in black in winter and white in summer, the Carabiniers perform a solemn, military ritual in which coordination is essential. This daily ritual, lasting seven minutes, attracts many spectators from all over the world.

Since 1959, in June and July, the Prince of Monaco’s Palace has opened its doors for a series of classical music concerts performed by the Monte Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra. The greatest works of Strauss, Mozart and Beethoven are performed for the occasion. The concerts take place in the Cour d’Honneur of the Palace and have become the must-attend venue for music lovers from around the world.
