Saint-Tropez<\/strong>
Ros\u00e9 de Provence, the one we appreciate so much for its delicate color and intense fruitiness, was born in the 1980s in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, when a winemaker had the idea of vinifying his P\u00e9tale de Rose cuv\u00e9e cold, to acquire aromas without taking on color. A great success! The method has since been taken up by the entire Proven\u00e7al vineyard. And if Barbeyrolles remains a classic, other areas of the peninsula, all classified as AOP C\u00f4tes de Provence, shine with the quality of their production-La Croix, Torpez, Bertaud- Belieu, Saint-Maur, etc. <\/p>\n

Fr\u00e9jus<\/strong>
Winemakers in Fr\u00e9jus and its neighboring villages are no match for their neighbors in Saint-Tropez, quite the contrary. They benefit from a particularly favorable soil, with more frequent rains and winds than in the rest of the region, varied soils, and the influence of the sea that results in less cold winters and cooler summers. Fr\u00e9jus is a place of excellence on the C\u00f4te d’Azur wine route with its wine estates, its organization of winery visits, and its wine tastings. In addition, the Administration has granted the right to make their difference by exhibiting more than one appellation. An appellation of territory: C\u00f4tes de Provence Fr\u00e9jus. A sign of quality! <\/p>\n

Villars-sur-Var, Ile Saint-Honorat and Mandelieu-la-Napoul
<\/strong>In Villars-sur-Var, Clos Saint-Joseph is the only winery in the department to benefit from the famous appellation.
It is worth taking a detour for the wines of the monks of L\u00e9rins, on the island of Saint-Honorat: we also find their products on the tables of many of the region’s starred chefs.
A few kilometers away, at the foot of the Est\u00e9rel, Domaine de Barbossi is booming.<\/p>\n

Nice<\/strong>
In Saint-Jeannet Georges Rasse, in his Hautes Collines estate, signs, among other delicacies, a wine that belongs only to him: tuil\u00e9, aged for nine months in large glass demijohns, the Marie-Jeanne, in the sunshine of the C\u00f4te d’Azur!
On the hill of Saint-Roman de Bellet, nine producers give birth to one of the oldest appellations in France, created in 1941: AOC Bellet. Planted on the terrace, this vineyard, direct heir to the Romans, covers just sixty hectares. <\/p>\n
