NICE<\/strong>
Nice and particularly Old Nice, its historic heart, are full of many places steeped in Baroque art. Starting from Place Garibaldi and ending at the Franciscan Convent, tourists will take an extraordinary tour, going on a discovery of Baroque art. Of particular note are the Lascaris Palace, Sainte-Reparate Cathedral, the Church of Jesus, and the Chapel of Mercy. <\/p>\nCORNICHES<\/strong>
Between Nice and Turbia, there are the famous Corniches, 3 scenic roads of absolute beauty.
The itinerary of “La Route des 3 corniches” allows you to visit the Church of St. Michael, in Turbia, the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, in the village of \u00c8ze, and the Citadel of Saint-Elme, Villefranche-sur-Mer.<\/p>\nTHE ROYA VALLEY AND THE MENTONESE<\/strong>
The Roya Valley and in particular Haute Roya preserve Baroque works of great historical and artistic value that testify to the continuity of human settlement in these sites both on the sea and inland.
But the Mentonese area can also be found with Baroque works.
The itinerary starts in La Brigue, continues via Tenda, Fontan, Saorge, Breil-sur-Roya and Sospel. The route ends in Menton.
En route, you can see the church of Santa Maria in Albis in Breil-sur-Roya, the church of Notre-Dame-des-Miracles in Saorge, and the Basilica of Saint-Michel-Archange in Menton. <\/p>\nTHE VALLEY OF THE V\u00c9SUBIE<\/strong>
The Valley of the V\u00e9subie was influenced by Baroque art in the 17th century.
Amidst terraces planted with olive trees and mid-mountain vegetation, some buildings built in the Baroque style can be admired, others simply redecorated.
The Valley of the V\u00e9subie itinerary involves starting in Utelle, continuing through Saint-Martin-V\u00e9subie, Belv\u00e9d\u00e8re, La Boll\u00e8ne-V\u00e9subie, and ending in Sospel.
